CASE STUDY:
‘Tools and Resources’ Web Page for Physician Well-Being Initiative
Description:
Per the SVP’s request, I was fortunate to be the Web Lead on the latest alteration of Tools and Resources web page that houses “compendium of materials and other references for residents and faculty members as a resource for well-being, wellness, and related tools. It is the Task Force’s hope that these resources will support the elements in Section VI of the ACGME’s Common Program Requirements” (source: http://www.acgme.org).
Challenges:
- meeting an extremely tight and time-sensitive deadline on February 14, 2017 prior to the Annual Education Conference
- delivering a massive content entry for a preview in one day
- providing numerous revisions for a preview to several high level stakeholders
- designing a most concise and user-friendly web page structure that contains the links to 42 valuable resources
Outcome:
The revised web page was launched on time and it was acknowledged on the Annual Educational Conference by the ACGME CEO and President, dr. Thomas Nasca and was received very well by the attendees.
