CASE STUDY:

My Collaboration in the Web Redesign and Revamping Projects

QA/SEO/UX and Google Analytics

Description:

I had this incredible opportunity to be involved concurrently in two web redesign projects for one company. This major effort required a collaboration between IT, Communications and International Departments, several stakeholders and vendors. One project was completed within 6 months, while the more complex website with 1,500 downloadable documents and hundreds of content pages was launched a year and a half after the kick-off meeting. My contribution to both projects was in the area of managing and conducting an extensive QA on mobile devices as well across the browsers, working with the web development agency on typography and design of templates, providing some recommendations regarding a user experience, assisting with generating Google Analytics reports and web content “scrubbing” projects while introducing basic SEO techniques, as well as performing a massive content entry for new sections of the websites.

Goals:

  • grant the website visitors a better user experience
  • improve functionality
  • design and implement modern and interactive sites

Outcome:

The smaller website was launched on time at in January 2015, while the other content heavy site was completed in March 2016. Both websites were well received by their audiences.
